Graduation Day
On one of the hottest most blistering days of the year Dr Gem Gems donned a suit and gown and got herself graduated.
NOT the coolest outfit ever...
Terrible photo but good view of the 'do...
Ma and Pa came up for the day and the ceremony was nowhere near as hot or boring as it could have been. So proud of little Gem Gems!!! We had a really nice day, topped off with a really nice curry, as I believe is traditional on these occasions.
So, the new 'do. I'm actually starting to love it. Not sure having big blocks of white hair is all that professional, so it's definitely not permanent, but it's certainly got a couple more weeks reprieve before it all goes dark again. And I kind of thought that what with blondes having more fun I'd start having a little bit more fun but nothing doing so far. Maybe fushia pink should be the next colour change...

Ok. I spy a nice fresh comments section for me to ruin. mmmm, actually can't think of anything witty to say. I must be ill......
Where has Gem Gem's right arm gone? An unfortunate incident with the hair straighteners?
Is the parlanchin operator hidden behind that wall? Glad to see he pulled the elastic just enough to cause a smile.
If you decide to go with pink fuschia chunks, let me know and I will send you some pink sheets to compliment your new hair colour. (I think the blonde bits look very cute actually)
Vet: Your comments are like buses. What parlanchin operator - where do you think Gem's arm is?
Barbara: Aw thanks! Do it! Send them on over! I wasn't kidding! Stu would LOVE pink sheets I'm sure. I'm actually getting really tempted by the fushia pink hair thing now...
I think your hairs (and dress) are truly lovely x
Ok, I couldn't resist...has none of the class of previous contenders but is fairly pertinent:
'The rumours spreading round that she cooks in the nude.'
(Song lyric, incidentally, if I didn't make that clear!)
oh my god how did you find out about that!? hehehe ;)
game on! if no one gets it you have to give me the next line tomorrow mmkay? I don't know it straight off it has to be said. pertinent you say? hmmm...
glad u like the hairs little one - too kind as ever X
Lovin' the new hairdo...
You would!!! :]
glad you like the new hairs...
you knows it dogga!!
Ok, I think we have to address this 'blondes have more fun' rubbish. I have considerable blocks of white hair and I don't have any fun at all.
A useful equation:
Fun α 1/blondeness
NB - there may be more contributing factors, of course. For example being a big fat geek who makes equations about fun.
ps - I have had pink hair too and I still didn't have any fun.
Hil I think the problem is that your equation gives you an absolute rather than relative value. I think you need to express 'fun(blonde) as a percentage of 'fun(not blonde)'. But as you've always been blonde you've always had fun! You have so much fun, making up equations about fun and what not, you just don't know it!
I love the term 'and what not'. It's so... I don't know... Great. For some reason I can imagine Harold Bishop saying it.
