Rehab

I heard this today by Amy Winehouse who I love, I think she's great. She's so striking with all that hair and look at those shoes! F**k me pumps as she would say.

Mum HATES her. I appreciate she's certainly not your average, and I can see you either love her or hate her. Like marmite. Which I also love.

Here she is being interviewed in a butcher's (caution contains graphic scenes of meat preparation)...

I've been subjected to SO much telly over this weekend. I've been trapped in the flat writing a presentation and I've had the telly on in the background. Lucky for me my 2 favourite films with elements of time travel in them have been on - Donnie Darko and Back to the Future. I also watched Frankenstein which immediately followed Back to the Future - another film with a crazed scientist whose invention relies on a lightening storm. Weird.

Thanks for the warning, I didn't watch the clip. I did listen to the first one though...yay for more of the hand clap!!! She has a really deep voice, I kinda like it. I don't understand the fake eyelashes, but thats just a general statement, nothing to do with the song, which has a good beat. I've been listening to The Pipettes all weekend, fits in, I think.

Back to the Future was on TV last week, I love those films. Coined a favourite phrase of mine, 'Hello, McFly?' :)

Good luck on your presentation, I'm heading back to work myself, boo to work on Sundays.

I LOVE IT! I love the song, the voice, (and even the eyelashes). *G* It was very nice of you to put a meat warning for the veggie tary enz :)

Sean is going to be so sick of hearing this song ha ha.

Oh, I forgot! I almost died laughing at your mention of marmite. Sean eats that stuff right out of the jar!!! I always asociate that smell with him. Too funny!

I've never heard of her - but she's quite terrific, isn't she? And she so bloody exotic looking (just like me in my imagination).

Thanks so much for that!

Is marmite the same as vegamite?

Oh Allison how did I overlook the hand claps! I must have been distracted by the pajamas. And yes very much good accompaniment to The Pipettes.

'Hello, McFly' is a useful phrase, interchangeable with 'anyone? anyone? Bueller? anyone?'

Glad you like it Mel. So are you a marmite love or hater? Always nice to share the marmite love. And I too could easily eat it out of the jar. Yum.

Thanks River. Yeah I'm quite in love with those shoes. It was a good interview, Pop World is a bit rubbish without whatsherface and Simon thingy but that was a good one.

Exotic is a good word Barb, I'm not sure I'd call her attractive but she's really unusual. Marmite post coming soon...

I reckon she could Dogga, especially in those shoes ;) xx

Oh you should definitely try it Mel, spread really thinly on toast. Or on a bagel. Or a crumpet. Mmmmmmm

Ben there was one on EBay about 18 months ago, tempting I can tell you. I'd LOVE one.
